Dunsbury Lamb is Reared for you on a farm dedicated to conservation

, situated on land between the sea and the downs. We believe that the natural way our lambs are raised and what they eat makes all the difference to their flavour and quality. Here on the Isle of Wight we are proud of our clean air and unspoilt coastal chalk downlands.

Our corner of the Island is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty. Our lambs are grass-fed which has been shown to provide a more intense flavour, richer in Omega-3 fatty acids than grain-fed meat, helping to contribute to a healthy diet.

We hang our lamb for at least 10 days to allow it to develop its rich taste and flavour. Compare this with supermarket meat which is usually allowed little time to mature and consequently lacks taste and texture.

Our pure-bred flock of Poll Dorsets provide naturally produced out of season lamb which means that fresh meat is available throughout the year.

We offer a choice of a boxed whole lamb, half a lamb and a roast and chop selection. Alternatively lamb is available in a selection of cuts - please consult our list of products or call for more details. We also have mutton available throughout the year.

“Your lamb was a cracking success. I have to say it was the best BBQ I've ever had! I kept the shoulder rolled, rubbed it with sea salt, garlic and rosemary and plugged more of that in as deeply as I could. Then I left it on the Weber for an hour and a half. Gorgeous!”
